Merry Christmas!!! finally this is it. We heard mass in St Gregory at around 9 pm to thank the Lord for all the blessings he has given us and to hear His good news. and then we proceed to Fred's place . We celebrated our christmas eve at Fred's house , our new found friend here in virginia. We enjoyed a lot and having so much fun with them. As a traditional celebration we have a noche buena at around 12 am and opening gifts...we received a set of bed sheets and clothes for me and my hubby...we really appreciated their effort for preparing foods and gifts for us and same as vice-versa. My hubby cooked puto and a biko( in cebuanos way). But still we missed the christmas celebration in the philippines.Nothing compared...my hubby knows that i missed a lot my families in the philippines that's why he told me not to worry, in God's will next year we spend our Christmas in the philippines. That's why as early as of now,,,i'm looking forward of it.(lol)
After our noche buena, they prepared for some drinks for a tossed that Christ is born!!! We continued our celebration by singing a karaoke while the boys kept on drinking and we ended up to 3 am. AS in "walang-tulugan". No dull moments and i really treasured this event as one of our memorable christmas here in US.On christmas day, we woked up at 9 am...still fresh from our hang-over of christmas eve. My stomache is still full but we kept on eating..Until my hubby decided to helped Fred to fixed their fence and they worked until noontime. I've done some calling for my friends and relatives just greeted them a blessed christmas...and it's fine christmas day!!!
